Museum Tower

Completed in 1983 designed by Cesar Pelli as a re-designed Museum of Modern Art complex. It is a 52-story tower including 6 floors of museum activities and 240 residential apartments. In order to facilitate access to and over private terraces a unique articulated boom (knuckle) was used. The standard-sized elevator caused us to manufacture custom pieces to allow installation. A Track Drive and 2 machines were used and color matched to the existing façade.
